Site News January 2015

There were two major changes and one minor bugfix for the site this month.

The first major change was the layout of the data tables in the Patent Tracker tool.  I updated the table layout to more closely align with the information displayed in the charts (as opposed to the previous awkward SQL query result).  I also separated the generic drug tables into their own tab.  Overall, I feel these changes provide a smoother experience when investigating company drug portfolios.

The second major change involves new FDA Calendar data sources and will be discussed in its own post.

The minor bugfix was a change in the data tables of Adcom Explorer.  In an effort to provide the most current data, I recently started tallying voting results based on the video feed of the adcom meeting rather than the minutes and transcript.  This threw off the ordering of the entries in the table.  The ordering has been fixed.
